The Parks Agency has always maintained that the root problem with our UK parks is lack of money, both in capital investement and adequate revenue provision. We feature here a few of the parks that have benefitted from injections of both capital and revenue money from the Heritage Lottery Fund. These show that there is no mystery to great parks beyond spending enough money on them and giving people the opportunity to excel.

There is nothing quite like being in a beautiful public park. These photographs celebrate what it is all about.
